Contract

To keep this guarantee in force you must have your puppy/dog examined by a licensed veterinarian within 3 days of receipt. (I will allow 5 days if the puppy/dog was received on or during a Holiday weekend.)
During the initial exam, should your veterinarian find the puppy/dog to be a poor health risk or detect any physical health problem that would require further veterinary care (other than required vaccinations and/ or treatment for any type of parasite or bacteria, internal or external) you MUST contact me within 24 hours. The failure of this will result in the cancellation of this guarantee.  A diagnosis of coccidia, giarrdia, parasites, or any other type of bacterial infection does not render your puppy/dog unhealthy.
This puppy is guaranteed for 90 days against fatal and life altering congenital disease which adversely affects the health of the animal. This includes severe hip dysplasia which hampers a dog's movement and natural gait and requires surgery to correct, kidney, heart, pancreas, spine, and liver problems of a severe life threatening or altering nature. If the dog dies within this 90 day time frame, the Buyer will pay to have an autopsy done to determine reason. If reason is congenital, the Seller will replace the puppy. If the reason is from neglect by the buyer, there will be no replacement. Dogs over 1 year are guaranteed for 30 days.
Every effort has been made to assure that the puppy/dog you have selected is healthy on the date of delivery and that the puppy has received proper vaccinations and worming. The Buyer has been informed of these and of future vaccinations and worming due, and will agree to have them done on time, failure to do so will render this contract null and void. A puppy showing any serious genetic or congenital defect will be replaced as follows:

Animal must show the defect by 90 days from when the Buyer received it. Seller must be notified of the problem within 2 days of the licensed veterinarian's determination and have two reports from two unassociated veterinarians stating the same problem and Seller will provide a replacement puppy of equivalent value. A puppy with a defect must be returned with the prior permission of the Seller to qualify for a replacement puppy. Full medical documentation must precede the return of the defective animal. The documentation must explicitly and singularly identify that the cause of the puppy's defect is genetically related. The results of this documentation are to be evaluated by a veterinarian of the seller's choosing to confirm and authenticate the results provided by the buyer's veterinarian. The findings and opinions of the seller's veterinarian are to be considered final and ultimate opinion.
All transportation expenses involved in the return of the puppy as well as the replacement puppy are the responsibility of the buyer.
This guarantee does not cover what in the bulldog breed is considered normal: cherry eye, entropion, "loose" hips, skin allergies, umbilical hernias, elongated soft palate, and stenotic nares (collapsed nostrils). This guarantee does not include uneven bites, undescended testicles, demodex mange, inguinal hernias, fleas, ticks or ear mite, Coccidia and Kennel Cough, which is common in puppies that are shipped and usually caused by bacteria. Kennel Cough is self-limiting and like the common cold, it must run its course. Full recovery is expected and Kennel Cough on its own is not life threatening. There are certain disorders that may be caused by environmental factors, for example: allergies, thyroid dysfunction, demodectic mange, and other autoimmune disorders that are not covered by this guarantee.
Seller will not be responsible for any medical expenses incurred. Buyer is aware that owning a puppy means trips to the veterinarian and understands that he/she will be responsible for all payments. A returned puppy must be returned to the Seller in good condition, other than the specified problem, at the Buyer's expense. The Buyer/owner will then qualify for a replacement puppy.
Buyer is responsible for ALL transportation costs to and from the Seller on a replacement puppy. No replacement puppy will be given if the puppy has been bred, spayed, neutered, or euthanized without Seller's permission. Replacement puppy will be mutually agreed upon by both parties and will be of comparable quality. It is understood that the replacement puppy may not be from the exact same parents of original puppy.
This guarantee applies to the original puppy only and is nontransferable to a second party. Any physical problem which is or could be the result of injury is not covered under this guarantee.
By signing contract, buyer agrees that he/she understands this contract fully. This contract is null and void if the terms and conditions are not fulfilled.
